Supporting The Real Voice of Hollywood

The Daily Mantra saw a report on Perez Hilton's website saying that talk show host Ellen DeGeneres walked past picket lines to tape her show on Tuesday. We hope this isn't true, and would hate to think she cares more about her pets than her fellow humans. We fully support the writers' strike, having friends who have worked on many of the top shows in America that are still living from hand to mouth, facing significant financial hardship because their residuals are so paltry. Of course Hollywood's writers should be paid for online content, since ultimately we'll all be accessing our dose of TV online. Many already do, including millions of fans of The Office.
