Two weeks ago we brought you a story called Ocean of Trash about the build up of carelessly discarded garbage, that after being swept into our seas and channeled by its currents has collected in a slowly-revolving mass in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. The area taken over by this garbage patch is now estimated to be nearly double the size of Texas. We recently Stumbled Upon an excellent Greenpeace animated map, showing the journey of trash and this massive trash vortex. Click HERE to view.
