The Daily Mantra loves the taste and the good intentions of boutique bottled water brand H2Om. Their water is sourced in the Palomar Mountains of Southern California, and is rigorously filtered and sanitized using both UV light and ozone, which unlike chlorine, breaks down into oxygen in a few hours, leaving no aftertaste or aroma. The labels feature words of positive affirmation (love, perfect health, prosperity, gratitude, will power, joy and peace), the idea being, as H2Om’s own mantra states, that you “think it while you drink it.” The folks behind H2Om claim it is the world's first vibrationally charged bottled water. The colors in the packaging are said to resonate with specific chakras, and once the water is bottled they play a mix of music, sound and spoken word to infuse the water with good vibes.

The company was founded by husband and wife team Lex Lang and Sandy Fox. “It all began while honeymooning on the beautiful island of Kauai,” explains Sandy. “My husband and I were meditating one morning on Poipu Beach. As part of our meditation, we sent positive blessings for the planet into the ocean, asking the water to carry that energy out into the world so that anyone who was touching the water would receive our positive intentions.” Afterwards, the couple walked into town for lunch and chanced upon a magazine called Inspiration, which just happened to be laying on their table. The featured story was The Miracle of Water ~ Send your Blessings into the World, which talked about the work of Dr. Masaru Emoto, who believes water has a unique ability to retain information. “We said ‘Wow, we were just doing this,’” recalls Sandy.
Back in the US the duo started to tape positive words onto their water bottles, and encouraged family and friends to do the same. A few months later, Sandy and Lex saw the film What The Bleep Do We Know?, which again talked about water’s receptive properties. The very next day Lex awoke after having a vivid dream in which he saw images of the bottles, the name and the slogan. Lex and Sandy immediately started work on making the dream a reality.
A portion of the proceeds from each bottle support social and environmental causes, which is another reason why this is our new favorite water.
